We have no room to turn around with a trailer at The Temple or room for boat or caravan to be stored. However we have been living in the area for many years and have never had an issue with leaving a boat anchored off the beach or trailers parked along the Portland Roads foreshore.

We are completely off the grid and have no air con as we have never felt we needed it due to being 70m above sea level with a constant sea breeze.

We have had many families come and stay with us and kids love The Temple… although kids do need to be supervised at all times due to our location on the top of a mountain. There are slippery and steep surfaces.

We are an accomodation only establishment. For camping options, Chilli Beach is the spot. Make sure to book ahead as sites do book out.

We are a pet friendly establishment and have our dog Memphis who is the king of the castle and is very friendly. However if your dog doesn’t get along with ours we ask for it to be tied up. We also don’t allow for pets to sleep on bedding or furniture.
